Licensing Overview
All Lettermin licenses are perpetual. You pay once upfront and own the license forever. No subscriptions or recurring fees. Pricing varies by license type, usage scale (like page views or users), and number of styles, families or collections selected.
Desktop License
Allows installation of the font on a set number of computers to create fixed designs like printed flyers, PDFs, logos, brand graphics, social media posts, company documents, and eBooks.
Font file sharing is restricted to in-house teams and supervised third parties on the same project.
You pay per user or computer.
Web License
Allows use of the font for rendering live text on websites, company intranets, or web apps using special web font files (WOFF/WOFF2). Visitors can see and print your content but can’t download or edit the font.

App License
Allows embedding of the font within software applications, including mobile apps, desktop programs, games, and web apps, for live text display in the user interface or content.

Allows installation of the font on controlled servers to automatically create documents, images, or other files on demand, or to handle font display in server-based systems.
This covers things like generating PDFs, custom documents, or networked software.
Pricing is per server.
OEM License
Permits building the font into into hardware devices, operating systems, or firmware sold as products (like TVs, kiosks, or car displays).
Pricing depends on how many units you produce or ship.
Broadcasting License
Covers using the font in TV shows, movies, streaming series, or live broadcasts for on-screen text like titles, captions, lower thirds, and news tickers. It also includes related promo materials (trailers, posters, ads) within set limits. Your production team and freelancers can install it, but no one can copy, extract, or use it outside that project.
